We want you to be delighted every time you shop with us. On occasion we know you may want to return items so below is our returns policy.
Reasons for return and liability
If you change your mind
If you have simply changed your mind about any item ordered and you wish to return it, then in line with the Distance Selling Regulations (DSR) you can do so provided you inform us of your decision within 10 days of receipt. The item must not be used and must be 'as new' when returned to us. Once you've informed us that you wish to return goods under the DSR, you have 28 calendar days to do so, at your own expense. Once the item is received at hupshop.com, we'll issue a full refund for the product to your original payment method. Please ensure packaging is secure as it may not be possible to refund or replace an item damaged during return transit. Please include a note stating reason.
If the item is damaged or defective
We will refund the cost of the item and the postage if the item is damaged or defective, within 28 calendar days of receipt. Please return the item with any original packaging and include a note stating damage or defect.
Once we have verified the fault, we will refund the cost of the item, original postage and return postage. In any event please obtain a receipt from post office or courier for the return of any items. As we cannot be held responsible if they are lost in transit. Our returns address is:

All orders are processed within 24 hours. Upon completion of your order, you will receive an email to confirm dispatch from our warehouse.
We cannot guarantee 100% that your goods will be with you on the day we state. On a running average we have found that over 99% arrive on the expected date the other 1% are susceptible to conditions outside of our command. Inevitably deliveries may be attempted when you are out in which case a card will be left to notify you.
My order has not arrived. How long should I wait before contacting you?
Four working days. Please contact us so that we can investigate and track the order with our carrier.
I want to make sure my order has been dispatched as I need it urgently.
No problem. You should have had an email to confirm the order has been dispatched. However it is possible that it has gone into your junk email folder. Please call and we can confirm.
I have a missing or damaged item what should I do?

The clothes and accessories you can buy at hupshop.com are all hand made and very special. Please look after them by following this handling advice.

Washing
The products do not need to be dry cleaned since they can be washed.
Our clothes are hand dyed, therefore they should be washed separately at 30˚C. They are machine washable but please turned them inside out to protect their colour. Our clothes mildly spin dry.
If washed by hand, solve the required amount of colour friendly washing powder in lukewarm water, wash the clothes without rubbing or soaking and dry them on a hanger. Drain excess water but do not wring or twist.
Our clothes must not be bleached!
Drying
Linen and cotton clothes may be dried in tumble dryers.
If the clothes are dried in direct sun, turn them inside out so that the colours stay bright longer.
Ironing
If required, iron on reverse while still slightly damp, using a pressing cloth.
Our cotton tops may be ironed at a warm (medium - 2) temperature.
All our tops are unique. To avoid customer disappointment we introduced a reservation system.
When you place an item in your shopping basket we automatically put it aside for you so you are welcome to browse and shop at your convenience without worrying that another customer grabs it before you.
How can I reserve an item?
To reserve an item that you like and want to buy simply click on the Add to Shopping Bag button under the selected item's image.
The item I would like to buy seems to be reserved for someone else
If the item you would like to purchase is reserved for another customer you may be able to buy it after the stated time expires. Please note that we can not guarantee availability even then due to the uniqueness of our stock.
For how long can items be reserved?
We automatically reserve items for our registered customers for 30 minutes.
For anyone not registered we can only reserve items for 15 minutes.
If my chosen item has been sold
If your chosen item has been sold we are unfortunately unable to provide you with an identical item as all our clothes are unique. We apologise for any inconvenience. Please continue browsing our shop, we are certain you will find something else to your liking.
